  • Work on international planning Paid Social for Mercedes-Benz globally, across divisions including Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Benz Vans, and more.
  • Develop and roll out strategic guidance for how our local markets teams should utilise paid social within marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with our AMQ local market teams, positioning yourself as the paid social expert they can look towards for all social media governance topics.
  • Lead central projects to establish global strategic approaches for topics such as bid management, DCO, and data partnerships.
  • Define, roll out and ensure adoption of best-in-class operational processes for social media campaigns managed worldwide.
  • Drive forward our innovation agenda, taking an active role in building a test and learn approach into all work, delivering solutions that constantly challenge the standard of what has gone before.
  • Lead a global test and learn community, ensuring new social advertising products are trialled in relevant markets, with learnings disseminated globally.
  • Work hand in hand with Organic Social colleagues, to develop and operationalise an integrated and unified Paid/Organic social strategy and ways of working.
  • Collaborate closely with the Search and Display & Video teams, ensuring aligned and complementary specialist areas.
  • Work deeply with wider Team X agency team to ensure Paid Social is perfectly integrated with workstreams and processes for strategy, ad tech, audience, analytics and more.

Your Experience

  • 2+ years’ experience within Paid Social advertising, with experience in strategic planning, client management and campaign operations.
  • Technical expertise in the Facebook Ads platform (incl. platform developments and macro trends impacting advertisers), as well as an understanding of the social ads products of LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter and Snapchat.
  • Social media strategy experience, working with major brands across both brand and performance campaigns.
  • Exceptional communicator, being able to build strong networks across a large number of clients and colleagues.
  • Proactive leader, taking responsibility to define and deliver new initiatives to better achieve our goals and help our clients.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, and ability to delivery clear and rich insights from social performance data.
  • Ability to manage numerous projects concurrently, and consistently deliver high-quality work to short deadlines.
  • Understanding of wider digital and ad tech ecosystem.
  • Fluent English a must, with German speaking a plus (but not essential).
