  • Lead a visionary approach for Paid Social for Mercedes-Benz globally, across divisions including Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Benz Vans, and more.
  • Take on full responsibility for global and regional client relationships and management, positioning yourself as the Paid Social authority for all Team X projects and workstreams.
  • Pioneer our innovation agenda, taking an active role in building a test and learn approach into all work, delivering solutions that constantly challenge the standard of what has gone before.
  • Drive standardisation, governance and best practices (principles and verification) across all local markets through a governance workstream.
  • Establish a clear framework for measuring performance, and bringing the performance narrative to life for our clients in a clear and easy to understand way.
  • Work hand in hand with Organic Social colleagues, to develop and operationalise an integrated and unified Paid/Organic social strategy and ways of working.
  • Collaborate closely with the Search Lead and Display & Video Lead on the overarching Team X digital performance product, ensuring aligned and complementary specialist areas.
  • Work deeply with wider Team X agency team to ensure Paid Social is perfectly integrated with workstreams and processes for strategy, ad tech, audience, analytics and more.
  • Operational lead for central campaign planning and buying, including financial management to ensure smooth ongoing processes.
  • Develop a centralised planning & buying team that will cover all Paid Social activity across the globe into a central team.

Your Experience

  • 7+ years’ experience within Paid Social advertising, with strong experience in strategic planning, senior client leadership and campaign operations.
  • You’ve worked with major global brands to develop and evolve their use of Paid Social advertising, building social as a channel that drives meaningful business outcomes.
  • You have extensive social media strategy experience, with the ability to develop a clear vision, bring client and team on a journey, and take all the way through to implementation.
  • Deep technical expertise in the Facebook Ads platform (incl. platform developments and macro trends impacting advertisers), as well as a strong understanding of the social ads products of LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter and Snapchat.
  • Experience with data-driven social advertising approaches including feed-based (dynamic) ads, and use of 1st and 3rd party data for audience targeting.
  • Experience with measurement approaches for both performance (incl. via Pixel, SDK, CAPI) and brand marketing goals (incl. via Brand Lift), as well as working with Ad Server and Verification partners.
  • Team management experience, supporting professional development, and overseeing a team that manages a wide range of projects.
  • Strong project management capabilities, ensuring on time and on target delivery of projects.
  • Collaborative approach, with experience managing a wide network of colleague and client stakteholders.
  • Communicative and proactive working style, taking responsibility to define and deliver how we can best support our clients.
