About the Opportunity

Hearts & Science is challenging the way to think about media planning.  We are a bunch of hungry people from very different backgrounds aiming to make Hearts an agency of the future. We started three years ago from scratch - with ambitious goals and a mission to find likeminded brands to be partnering with and developing fresh approaches that merge media, tech and creative.

We predominantly work for challenger brands that have successfully disrupted the business they are in, coming from all kinds of different industries. And we will be stepping on a global scale in 2021. Things turned out pretty well we’d say – purely because of the passionate team behind Hearts.

In your role you will be leading the business on a range of our clients. From managing the international teams working on the accounts to ensuring client and agency needs are met – the job brings a high variety of tasks and responsibilities. We want to get stuff done with you and can’t wait for the energy you’ll be bringing to the team.

  • Become one of the leading team members of Hearts & Science Germany guiding and enabling your teams for success
  • Further develop your team members and make sure they can improve and get even better at what they do
  • Gain full responsibility for team structure and profit planning of your clients
  • Have all opportunities to develop as part of the management team of Omnicom’s fastest growing media agency in Germany
  • You work together directly with our clients from various backgrounds and become their valued advisor across the full spectrum of media and communications
  • You pull the strings and make sure we deliver our best work to every brief – this also includes steering projects across speciality units internally, in cooperation with other agencies and partners
  • Success needs to be measurable: You develop client-specific measurement frameworks, analysis and presentations together with the team
  • You have even more ideas how to bring value to our clients? Perfect!

What you need to be successful?

  • Min 5 years of experience in media and comms planning, ideally in a media agency or on client side
  • You know your craft by heart, from TV net reach curves to opportunities different DSPs can unlock for our clients
  • Curiosity is key. You’ll have the chance to thrive in an environment with little limitations and curiosity will help you immensely
  • Despite your experience you have an open mind and are open to do things differently. Just because “it has always been that way” doesn’t mean we can’t change or try new approaches
  • You can take responsibility and have been leading teams before  
  • Your English is excellent both spoken and in written form. For leading our international teams we need a person both fluent in English and German
  • You can think like you’re the business owner – to benefit the agency development and as well put yourself in the shoes of our clients
  • You are keen to become a central part of a team in the making. You have the necessary drive to not only be employee XY but become a central part of Hearts & Science 2021 and beyond!

Omnicom Media Group Germany is the German media holding company of Omnicom, one of the world's leading communications, advertising and marketing services groups. With the agencies OMD, PHD and Hearts & Science, a total of three media agency networks in Germany belong to our group.
